⚔️ LOOT SLAYER — Terms of Service & End-User License Agreement

Effective date: June 20, 2026 · Pre-Alpha

Welcome to LOOT SLAYER ("the Game"), created and operated by the owner of lootslayer.com ("we", "us", "the Owner"). By creating an account or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms of Service and the End-User License Agreement below ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

1. The Game is in Pre-Alpha

The Game is an early, in-development, pre-alpha product provided free of charge. It is offered "as is" and "as available." Features may change, break, or be removed at any time; the service may go offline; and your game data, accounts, characters, and progress may be reset, lost, or permanently deleted at any time, with or without notice. Do not rely on the Game for anything important.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Donations

The Game is free to play. Any donations (e.g., via Ko-fi or PayPal) are entirely optional, voluntary, and non-refundable. Donations do not purchase any in-game goods, currency, items, advantages, services, or future entitlements of any kind — they are gifts that simply support ongoing development. You receive nothing of monetary value in return, and donating gives you no special rights, ownership, or guarantees regarding the Game.

Donations are processed by third-party providers (Ko-fi, PayPal) under their own terms and privacy policies. We never see or store your payment-card details.

5. User Content

If the Game lets you submit content (such as a username or chat messages), you keep ownership of what you submit, but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, and use that content to operate the Game. You are solely responsible for what you submit. We may remove content at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property & License to Play (EULA)

The Game and all of its content — including the LOOT SLAYER name, logo, and emblem, and all source code, artwork, models, animations, UI, text, designs, and audiovisual elements — are owned by the operator of LootSlayer.com ("the Owner") and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. All rights reserved.

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and play the official hosted Game for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, host, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Game or any part of it. This license ends automatically if you violate these Terms.

"LOOT SLAYER" and the LOOT SLAYER emblem are trademarks (™) of the Owner. No rights in our trademarks or branding are granted to you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Game will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that data will be preserved.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, progress, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Game. Because the Game is free, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to USD $0 (or, where a minimum applies by law, USD $100).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the Owner harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Game or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Game (and delete associated data) at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the Game at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Game develops. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Colorado for any dispute, to the extent permitted by law.
